River Street Gallery is located in a historic building that was once the bank, you can still visit our "vault" in the lower level. In later years, the building served as an ice cream parlor. Exposed brick and extensive updates make for a pleasing art environment. Opening the backdoor to the riverwalk, join us weather permitting to sit and watch the boats traverse the river. We know that purchasing art often involves contemplation and that you may decide on what you need after returning home. If you can describe it, we can probably find it! It is for this reason that we accept Visa and Mastercard and are happy to package and ship most pieces. When you want to send a gift, or purchase for yourself simply give us a call. Meet our artists in residence!
Ray and Lois Algueseva have a combined 50 years experience working and managing the business side of art and creative pursuits. In addition to being artists themselves, they are savvy buyers of art and select only the pieces and artists that meet the gallery standards.
Lois is well-known for her intricate, oversized multimedia collages and an extensive series of angels done in watercolor and other mediums.
Ray works in many mediums as well, but oversees the business side of the gallery operations and serves as retail consultant.
